Many holidays in Canada are national holidays but each province and territory has its own holiday also. Some employees take days off on the various religion holidays like Muslim holidays and Jewish holidays.

National And Federal Holidays In Canada: -

  • Remembrance Day:-Remembrance Day is celebrated on November 11.

  • Christmas Day:-Christmas day is the day of huge celebrations for the Christians the day is celebrated on the 25 of December and there is national paid holiday on this day.

  • Boxing Day:-Boxing Day is celebrated on the December 26. Boxing Day is not a statutory holiday in some provinces of Canada.
